The AP reports that “In a statement Saturday, the Vatican said the need had come to develop a new legal doctrine for the Catholic Church about “excommunication for corruption and mafia association. That’s the decision reached this week after the Vatican hosted its first-ever conference on fighting corruption and organized crime. The meeting gathered 50 prosecutors, bishops, victims and U.N. officials for a day of talks.”

THE VATICAN IS LOOKING TO DEVELOP A NEW DOCTRINE THAT CALLS FOR EXCOMMUNICATING CATHOLICS FOR MAFIA ASSOCIATION AND CORRUPTION, BUT THAT RAISES A SERIOUS PROBLEM.

“And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.” Revelation 17:6 (KJV)

The Catholic Church has always bragged that they “never change”, but in reality their doctrine has changed a lot. Their latest “update” centers around having an official legal doctrine to deal with Mafia members, mobsters and other killers and murders. I wonder why that would be when the Bible clearly declares God’s position on how unsaved murderers should be treated.

“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Revelation 21:8 (KJV)

So let me get this straight because I’m a tad confused. After 1,692 years of allowing all manner of unregenerate, soulless killers to be “Catholics in good standing”, Pope Francis has suddenly grown a conscience? Isn’t that interesting.

We can stop there, I think you get the idea. The point being is that the Vatican and the Catholic Church has always been the friend of unredeemed killers. People have applauded Pope Francis’s “excommunication of Mafia members“, but in doing so it raises an ugly, ugly question. If the Vatican has let Mafia members be “Catholics in good standing” since the Mafia was first formed in the 19th century, and allowed them to have “last rites” when they are dying, then why are Mafia members suddenly anathema now? Hmm…Houston, we have a problem.

WHAT DOES THE VATICAN, NAZI GERMANY, 20TH CENTURY FOX AND THE NIV HAVE IN COMMON?:

If the Vatican wants to create an official doctrine now in 2017 to boot out Mafia members, then they will also have to admit that allowing Mafia members to become and remain Catholics for well over 100 years was a sin. And as a sin, the Vatican would have to officially admit they were wrong, that all popes who allowed that were wrong, and then also issue a formal letter of repentance from the Vatican and signed by the pope.

The moment that happens, of course, out the window goes other Catholic “doctrines” like the infallibility of the popes, and ridiculous claims like they are the “vicar of Christ”. Because Jesus Christ would not allow an unsaved mafia member into His Church for one, single second. In fact, there is only ONE requirement for becoming part of the Church, and that’s to become born again.
