DUI-E Law Now Makes It Illegal to Text, Smoke and Even Eat While Driving

Washington's new Driving Under the Influence of Electronics law makes it illegal to text, eat, smoke, read or groom while driving.  The charge of “driving under the influence” used to only apply to drivers who were under the influence of drugs or alcohol—but it will now apply to drivers who text, eat, smoke, read or groom while driving in the state of Washington.
