The feminist and vegan owner of Handsome Her eatery in Melbourne, Australia, is charging male customers an extra 18 percent “man tax” to eat at her cafe.  But her misandry doesn’t end there. She also is giving women priority seating at the vegan restaurant, regardless of which patron walked in first.

Owner Alex O’Brien told Broadsheet website, “I do want people to think about it because we’ve had this [pay discrepancy] for decades and decades and we’re bringing it to the forefront of people’s minds. I like that it is making men stop and question their privilege a little bit.”

It is also alienating half of population as customers because intelligent humans (regardless of gender) don’t intentionally pay 18% more simply because of the gender they had literally no say in when being born. Of course, feminists don’t think of it that way. Oh, and the “wage gap” has been thoroughly debunked.

O’Brien also has her sexist rules up on a board for all to see.  Take note of #3.  The irony is so strong here, it could cure everyone on earth of anemia.

The restaurant is also incredibly proud of their “vulva stones” and “period sticker packs.” No description needed; just let your imagination run wild on that one.

O’Brien has claimed that the response to her attempt to financially punish men for their gender has been positive from both men and women. But the responses are actually a bit more mixed than O’Brien likes. Many are calling O’Brien a “sexist.”  One Twitter user said: “This makes me sick. What the hell is wrong with these stupid women. Rules for men to enter?” While another tweeted: “Your “cafe” is sexist.” Her rating on Google is only 1.3 currently (do yourself a favor and read the reviews), which should also tell the owner something about her business. Some men even claim to have gotten food poisoning from the sexist restaurant and others say their female companions were treated far better than they were.  It appears that the response is far from “all positive” as the feminist owner ascertains.

The extra money earned from the “man tax” will be donated to the Elizabeth Morgan House which supports Aboriginal women and children. Why not ask for donations instead of “taxing” men to support your cause? Although the owner states that the “man tax” is optional, men have said they were screamed and yelled at for refusing to pay it, and treated horribly at the restaurant just because they were men.
