On the Anniversary of the American Destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki

The only government sufficiently evil and barbaric to drop nuclear weapons on civilian populations is the United States. The US vaporized Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. The anniversary of Washington’s second act of total evil occurred on August 9, 1945, when Nagasaki was obliterated.

Patricia Hynes reminds us that the most massive war crimes in modern history were committed by the US government. It was purely gratuitous as Japan was trying to surrender, and the enormous war crimes were committed despite opposition by America’s top military leaders.

Now with nuclear weapons a thousand times more powerful, Washington is stalking nuclear war with Russia and China.
