I am inclined to respect Ford Fischer’s viewpoint because he is one of the few journalists or activists to attempt to offer a first person perspective on Charlottesville that offers any insight or depth beyond the usual “Leftist Terrorists vs. Official Bad People” narrative coming from the Left and Right.
