Man shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ attacks two women with hammer in France – reports
A man has attacked two women with a hammer in the French town of Chalon-sur-Saone, allegedly shouting 'Allah Akbar'. One of the women was injured in the attack.
France's Public Prosecutor has confirmed that the man was shouting “Allahu Akbar”, as cited by local media outlet Le Journal.
According to a source close to the investigation, preliminary indications are that the act was carried out by a mentally unstable person, Le Journal reported.
