At least 263 people have died in the deadliest twin bomb attacks in the heart of Somalia's capital Mogadishu, according to medical staff cited by Reuters.

A doctor at the city's Madina hospital, Aden Nur, said the site had recorded 258 deaths while Ahmed Ali, a nurse at the nearby Osman Fiqi hospital, said that five bodies had been sent there, Reuters reports.
