‘An elderly couple have been living rough on the streets for more than two months after being evicted from their privately-rented home.


An 84-year-old man and his 75-year-old partner have been sleeping in seafront shelters in Bournemouth since moving out of their Charminster flat in April, and have been relying on a local soup kitchen for their meals.


It is understood the couple, who have asked not to be named, lost their home because they were unable to pay their rent following changes to how their pensions are paid.’
