The California State Assembly is trying to make it illegal to be a witnessing Christian or even a practicing Christian. this is Satanic tyranny on steroids. You will not believe what legislators are trying to pass.

n April of 2018, conservative network, One America News Network (OAN), interviewed California State Assembly member Travis Allen, who is also running for governor as a Republican. The topic of theinterview was Assembly Bill 2943. Thi is a well-supported proposed law currently before state legislators. The interview was viewed 1.4 million times on Facebook.

California state government is wholly against anyone professing to be a Christian hetereosexual-practicing individual. The proposed law even extends to prohibiting the suggestion that girls wear skirts and boys wear slacks.

In 2012, the California Assembly passed the very controversial Senate Bill 1172, which banned mental health professionals from performing SOCE on children under the age of 18. The law defines SOCE as: “any practices by mental health providers that seek to change an individual’s sexual orientation. This includes efforts to change behaviors or gender expressions, or to eliminate or reduce sexual or romantic attractions or feelings toward individuals of the same sex”. The limitations placed upon actions and statements by the bill extends to individuals as it prohibits SOCE from being performed by any individual, not just by mental health providers. This is a direct attack upon the First Amendment from both a freedom of speech perspective, but it also extends to the free exercise of religion clause of the First Amendment.

AB-2119 requires children in foster care to receive gender-affirming therapy if they have gender dysphoria. It bans any form of conversion therapy.  It is not clear if it is permissible to convert heterosexuals to homosexuality. The bill appears to only limit covnersion froma one-way practice.

In summary, California LGBTQ activists have introduced a bill that would make it illegal for Christians to provide biblically based counseling for those wanting to get help for unwanted same-sex attractions, as Assemblyman Evan Low’s bill, AB 2943, states that “advertising, offering to engage in, or engaging in sexual orientation change efforts with an individual” is illegal under state’s consumer fraud law…” Whatever happened to letting each person decide what is best for them?

To Christians in California it is time to make a stand. The time for dissent and civil disobedience is now. To everyone else across the country, if you think that this is going to stop in California, think again.
