It was another busy week for BS in pundit land as the West’s Korea experts scrambled to make sense (or nonsense) out of Donald Trump’s latest episode in diplomacy via abusive correspondence: the Trump letter canceling the June 12 Singapore summit with Kim Jong Un.

Experts, pundits, and media types scrambled to explain the titanic dimensions of this supermega Trump fail as NeverTrumpers exulted in the evaporation of the Donald’s Nobel Peace Prize fantasies.

But then the bombshell…unbombed!

North Korea didn’t take umbrage, South Korean president Moon Jae In jetted off for a quick summit with Kim Jong Un to keep things on track, and arrangements for the summit are still chugging along.

So the Korea experts who misguided American policy to the point that North Korea is a viable nuclear power and South Korea is moving away from ally status and pursuing an independent foreign policy aren’t even coming close to getting the day to day developments in Korean affairs right.

And we’ve still got the China hawks, who are pushing for a generational struggle with the People’s Republic of China with help from U.S. Senator Marco Rubio and Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen.
