Former Man United manager Alex Ferguson released from hospital after brain hemorrhage

Legendary former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been released from hospital and is recovering with family after having suffered a brain hemorrhage last month.

Ferguson, 76, had been in critical condition after undergoing emergency surgery for the hemorrhage on May 5 and had been placed in an induced coma after undergoing surgery. 


The Sun reports that the Scot, who managed United for a record 27 years, is currently being looked after by loved ones. It is even rumored Ferguson is targeting a return to Old Trafford's directors' box by the start of the English Premier League season in August.


As manager of United, Ferguson won thirteen Premier League titles, five FA Cups and two Champions League trophies. It is understood his family will make no further comment at this time.
