I think most of us are glad that there are people trying to solve or at least reduce all of the world’s problems.
Cancer is one of those problems. Research has determined that people and animals get cancer for many different reasons.
Decades before it was finally publicized, there was plenty of research that had proven smoking caused cancer and other health issues. However, “Big Tobacco” paid for research that said it didn’t. Many people – including scientists, medical professionals, elected officials, and government employees – went along with this for decades.
In 2011, The World Health Organization stated that research had proven all sources of cell phone and WiFi radiation are Possibly Carcinogenic. Many scientists claim that research has proven it is actually Carcinogenic.
The Telecom Industry aka “Big Wireless” has been accused over the years for being like “Big Tobacco” by paying for research that has kept us confused about harm from exposure to their products and infrastructure. Research proving harm is often referred to “controversial” or “inconclusive.” “Big Wireless” companies only seem willing to occasionally warn their shareholders.
This has led most of the general public to believe that all new technology operates via some kind of magic. Unsafe tech use portrayed in TV, film, advertising for prescriptions, and marketing campaigns makes it seem like personal tech products must be safe to use in ways that violate “safety” guidelines provided in manuals that are actually outdated and substandard.
Some business owners, community leaders, elected officials, environmental advocates, government agencies, and medical organizations are guilty of perpetuating this magic theory.
U.S. broadcast stations have been airing segments about this though. In February 2018, CBSNews.com posted an unmistakable warning, “Cell Phones and Cancer: 8 Dumb Things to Boost Your Possible Cancer Risk.”
Decades of research has also determined that cancer is also linked to exposure to other sources of electrical pollution (Electrosmog) as well.
Research has also proven that pets, nature, and wildlife are affected by WiFi radiation and Electrosmog exposure, too.
Some people still don’t believe this. In fact, some of the same scientists who defend tobacco products also defend Telecom products and infrastructure.
Many elected officials as well as government employees (current and former) are in no hurry to correct this either.
