Let’s be clear, though. While I don’t want to say Trump has “no power” in this situation, this policy has been around since Bill Clinton signed it into law.  It’s been around for 22 years. It only became a problem once Trump was in power. Nobody cared about it for over two decades, until the media decided to try and weaponize it against Trump.

But I suspect the reason Slick Willy started this legal ball rolling, much more nefarious, as this #CDAN I posted the other day implies:
