An excerpt from a recent Newsweek article, clarifies that the U.S. FDA still doesn’t care about known harm caused by cell phone and wireless WiFi radiation exposure:
Current cellphone safety regulations are based on a premise that is now arguably false: that cellphone radiation can cause harm only by heating tissue. The FDA, however, has no plans to strengthen the regulations.
According to the article, some experts do care:
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulates new technology; HOWEVER, they are NOT a health organization. FCC employees cleverly defer to the FDA to avoid being held accountable for harm caused by exposure to technology. So – like the FDA – The FCC doesn’t care about harm either.
Many U.S. elected officials don’t seem to care either. This all becomes more obvious and ridiculous every day since Big Wireless has never said their products were safe. They’ve simply used outdated legislation and “Big Tobacco” tactics do keep the unsuspecting public buying their products.
Since 2012, The American Academy of Pediatrics and many other experts have been recommending caution with digital, electronic, and wireless technology – especially among kids. They have asked for the reassessment of federal safety guidelines, standards, testing and warnings.
For many years, tech inventors seem to have cared about their own children’s use and exposure to radiation emitting technology. They’ve been sending them to private “low tech” schools and limiting the use of tech in their homes.
In the meantime, Big Wireless has encouraged American public school systems to collectively spend $60B to become “high tech.” Research has indicated that public school kids aren’t better off educationally or otherwise. In addition to contributing to excessive screen use and digital addiction, it has also exposed them and staff to prolonged involuntary harmful radiation.
Over the years, other countries have been proactive about raising awareness and encouraging adults to limit cell phone use – especially by kids.
Recently in France, scientists demanded the immediate recall of millions of cell phones after government data revealed that 9 out of 10 phones tested exceed regulatory limits.
Cell phone manufacturers at least care about their shareholders. They have warned them that they may eventually be found liable for harm caused by their products. Now no one will insure them – not even Lloyd’s of London.
Decades of research from government, independent, industry and military scientists have already proven that exposure to all sources of cell phone and wireless WiFi radiation are harmful in more ways than cancer risk. Lab testing is available to diagnose if exposure is causing or worsening symptoms and illnesses.
Exposure concerns and warnings have been covered by broadcast news stations as well as many others including:
Regardless, in the U.S, TV, film, and marketing – even for prescriptions –continue portraying tech use in ways that violate even outdated federal safety guidelines. Marketing products to children is 24/7. Even Sesame Street encourages tech use.
