A video, produced by the right-wing Sweden Democrats party, has been deleted by YouTube. The video shows the ‘Nazi related’ history of their opponents, the far left Social Democrats.

The video has been removed because “it violates YouTube’s Community Guidelines”, according to the message that YouTube displays when people try to access the documentary.

“For two days our documentary on the history of the Social Democats was published on YouTube. In a short amount of time the footage received 190,000 views before it was removed. We are waiting for an explanation,” the party says in a Twitter statement.

The hour and 40 minute video goes through a long series of quotes and events linked to the Social Democrats’ history.

One example is data and newspaper clippings show that the Swedish Social Democrats inspired Nazi Germany on the issue of Eugenics or “ethnic cleansing”.

Another attention grabbing point in the film exposes how the then Social Democratic led government refused to help the King of Norway when he tried to escape the occupying Nazis.

The then Swedish government instead ordered that the Norwegian king be seized to appease the Nazis.

By YouTube’s own stats counter, the video had received nearly 200,000 views when it was removed late Thursday.
