The Media’s LIES

20-8-2018 < SGT Report 124 301 words

by Karl Denninger, Market Ticker:

Leon Panetta was cumming all over the pMSNBC-style media this morning about how Brennan’s security clearance revocation was somehow “invalid” or “subject to due process” due to Obama’s (and other’s) previous Executive Orders.

Panetta and the entire media cadre know he is lying.

They’re not mistaken, they know he’s lying because they’ve all seen dozens of Executive Orders.

EVERY SINGLE ONE I have ever seen, and I challenge you to find one that’s different, says this at the very end:

This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person. (emphasis mine)

There is no due process right of review.

There is no procedural right of review.

There is no right of review of any sort should a future (or present!) President change his or her mind.

Said President need not issue another executive order; such is a pure exercise of personal prerogative that expires with the holding of the office by the President who issues it.

No future (or in fact current!) President need specifically revoke that which creates no right or benefit; he may simply ignore same.

There is no right to sue if he or she does, in law or equity.

There is no “right” created or enforceable against anyone — not even against the current holder of the office.

Every single Executive Order I have ever read, and I’ve read dozens, has this exact language at the bottom right above the signature.

EVERY
SINGLE
ONE.

And every member of the Press, along with every former administration official knows this factually.

To represent otherwise is a lie.
