Readers probably won’t believe this one—I can almost guarantee—but it is factual: “Hamptons Police Ban Cellphones, Provides Emergency Rotary Call Boxes Instead.”

Finally, some out-of-the-box, non-consensus-thinking individuals are waking up to the fact cellular phones don’t work in an emergency or when there’s a weather anomaly that interferes with microwave transmissions, plus they can be weaponized for cybercrimes.  Holy cow!  Who would have believed that day would come when police, as in the Hamptons, Long Island, New York, have given cellphone operators in their area official notice and “ordered operators of cell towers to power the units off starting Wednesday, October 31.”

The reasons: “worries about hacking, cybercrime and surveillance,…” something I and other microwave tech data researchers and writers have been endorsing for a few years now regarding the vulnerabilities of hackers causing trouble within the grid system, which the Hamptons police want to avoid.

Congratulations to them!  Hopefully, their directive and actions will become “food for thought” for other public safety departments countrywide to take seriously and implement similar procedures.

“Horace Gumbach, the local chief cybercrime control official,” says, “Remember when all of the highways had emergency call boxes on them? We’re bringing them back.”

However, there is a downside to retrofitting rotary dial phone boxes; it’s “a technology many people are no longer familiar with.” He’s not worried, however. “We’re going to be running training workshops so that people can familiarize themselves.”

The above community-wide, self-preserving actions to avoid cybercrime and hacking the local grid and emergency system are to be lauded and applauded, but probably will be met with some dissatisfaction.

Microwave-run technologies and their ‘smart’ appliances are not what they are cracked up to be.

One has to wonder when the utility companies will realize that and put back the old, reliable analog meters, thereby doing away with the AMI Smart Meters which are causing so many problems for people, especially electromagnetic hypersensitivity.

Recently, I had a local electric company customer email me this: “Two nights ago my power went out for a short time.  I immediately called the PECO 800 number to report the outage and the recording said that no outage had been reported.  I thought the smart meters immediately reported outages.  So much for that.” 

Oh, the marketing and ‘scientific’ fibs vested interests tell consumers and utility commissions in order to make more money, since utilities charge up to $300 per new AMI Smart Meter.  Did you know that?  And that AMI SMs basically are “computers,” which will have to be replaced ad infinitum or again and again in the same way forever! The safe, fire-proof, grounded analog meters lasted up to 40 to 50 years, but they did not snoop around inside your house to report back to the utilities what your smart appliances were doing and storing your data to sell to third parties, something you didn’t give your permission for.  Basically, utilities are monetizing your utility usage for their financial benefits.
