Pompeo: Iran’s Leaders Must Listen To US ‘If They Want Their People to Eat”
The U.S. Secretary of State has said that it is in Iran’s best interests to fall in line and listen to Washington, because if not its people will end up paying the price.
The Trump administration has imposed its harshest sanctions yet against Iran, bringing its citizens to the brink of poverty.
In an interview with BBC Persian Mike Pompeo said that Iranian “leadership has to make a decision that they want their people to eat,” dropping all pretense of caring about Iranian citizens as he talked about the latest sanctions.
