Probe launched as over a DOZEN people feared dead in Superjet-100 crash landing in Moscow – reports

At least 13 people who were on board of the burnt-out Aeroflot plane, which crash-landed in the Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport, are feared dead, according to media reports.



According to the latest reports, 13 people died in the Sunday crash-landing and fire and another six sustained injuries, TASS cited medical sources as saying. The fate of some passengers remains unknown.


Russia’s Investigative Committee has so far confirmed the death of one person, adding that four people also “sought medical help.” At the same time, the investigators opened a case into an aircraft operation safety rules violation, which led to the deaths of “two or more people.”
