IRAN: Seeing Through Washington’s Thin Game

Far from promoting geopolitical stability, the current Administration in Washington has instead chosen to agitate against Iran, after it discarded the 2015 landmark JCPOA nuclear agreement despite the fact Tehran was in full compliance of the agreement. Since then, the US has only intensified its brutal economic sanctions regime with the aim of choking Iranian society and eventually overthrowing their current government. It seems the old tactics in the Great Game are no longer working, as US hawks are forced to resort to increasingly desperate measures to try and sell their case for regional dominance.
