El Paso Walmart mass shooting: The pieces that don’t fit

from Fellowship Of The Minds:

On Saturday, August 3, 2019, just before 10:30 a.m., at a Walmart store in El Paso, Texas, wielding a WASR-10 semi-automatic rifle, Patrick Wood Crusius, 21, shot and killed 20 people (including 7 Mexican nationals) and injured another 26, two of whom died 1-2 days later.

El Paso is a city in West Texas of about 680,000 residents, across the border from Juarez, Mexico. Crusius was living with his grandmother in Allen, Texas, about 650 miles from El Paso.

The timestamp on security-camera footage of the gunman walking in was 10:39:35. El Paso Police Chief Greg Allen said the first officer on scene arrived six minutes later, at 10:45 a.m.

Crusius was taken into custody and charged with capital murder after he surrendered to the police outside the Walmart shortly after the shooting began. Police say Crusius had purchased the gun legally, and allowed to carry it openly. Two law enforcement officers told ABC News that after Crusius was taken into custody, he told investigators that he wanted to shoot as many Mexicans as possible.

Police believe that Crusius is linked to a 2,300-word, 4-page “white nationalist” manifesto, “The Inconvenient Truth,” published at 10:20 a.m. on the 8chaninternet forums politics board, 19 minutes before the first 911 call.

The manifesto expresses worry about a “Hispanic invasion”, automation, large corporations, and environmental degradation, and is critical of both Democratic and Republican politicians for being “either complacent or involved” in the “takeover of the United States government by unchecked corporations.” (Sources: WikipediaNew York Times)

Note: 8chan has been characterized by the media as “Alt Right”. Yesterday, August 5, 8chan was shut down by the network infrastructure provider Cloudflare and by the web services company Voxility. And so, an “Alt Right” online forum is no more. Silenced.

Like so many past mass shootings, the El Paso shooting is also marked by anomalies — what Wolfgang Halbig calls “pieces that don’t fit”.

Below are 1o pieces that don’t fit in the El Paso shooting (h/t Vivian Lee‘s post on JamesFetzer.org, August 6, 2019):

(1) Like other false-flag mass shootings, the El Paso shooting had also been preceded by a drill. As reported by the New York Times, a “training exercise” for a “mass killing” had “recently” been held at Del Sol Medical Center, the El Paso hospital that was treating at least 11 of the injured. (The other victims were treated at University Medical Center of El Paso.)

(2) The WASR-10 semi-automatic rifle has a detachable 30-round magazine. How did Crusius manage to kill 22 and wound another 25 with a single 30-round magazine and without any extra ammunition?

(3) MULTIPLE SHOOTERS

Vivian Lee writes that “Fox News reported shots being fired rapidly in multiple locations; more shots were fired 20 minutes later, although this has been dropped from the narrative.” (Source: Twitter)

NBC News reported that authorities initially said a second person was taken into custody, but later said they believe only one person was responsible, and that Sgt. Robert Gomez of the El Paso Police Department said no shots were fired by law enforcement.
