For far too long, the internet has been under the thumb of Google.

The tech giant has infiltrated a vast majority of our daily lives with near impunity.  We use Google for recipes, mainstream news, medical advice, GPS directions, email…the list goes on.  This immense conglomeration of power has been largely ignored by the smartphone-satiated masses, who would gladly trade their privacy for convenience in this new digital dimension.

But we must we wary of Google and the gravity of their monopolistic maneuvers.  Their power is already far too great, and we know from investigative reporting that the corporation has no problem openly interfering in American democracy, thanks to the folks over at Project Veritas.  It was PV who first published hidden camera video of a Google executive claiming that the company is doing everything in their power to “prevent another Trump situation” in 2020.

With Americans growing ever more concerned over the trespasses of Google, many are turning to alternative search engine Duck Duck Go.

But, if privacy and politics are their concerns, Duck Duck Go isn’t going to give them any peace of mind.

Worse still; as Duck Duck Go continues to symbolically cater to Americans of a conservative persuasion through their “hey, we’re not Google” campaign, the search engine is donating hundreds of thousands of dollars to liberal and ultra-progressive organizations.

That’s right; not only is Duck Duck Go acting loosely with your data, but they are also donating to organizations that fly in the face of conservative Americans everywhere.
