(Natural News) In the wake of a pair of mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton a week ago, the Democratic Left, led by their propagandists in the establishment media, began to claim that “white nationalist domestic terrorists” are responsible for the vast majority of such shootings in America.


The allegation was led by the garbage New York Times, whose editorial board wrote in an Aug. 4 piece that America has “a white nationalist terrorist problem.”


The board wrote: 


Even a casual observer today can figure out what is going on. The world, and the West in particular, has a serious white nationalist terrorist problem that has been ignored or excused for far too long. As President George W. Bush declared in the wake of the 9/11 attacks, we must be a country “awakened to danger and called to defend freedom. Our grief has turned to anger, and anger to resolution.”


There are serious questions about how the United States has approached Islamic extremism, but if even a degree of that vigilance and unity of effort was put toward white nationalism, we’d be safer.


In a word, that’s a crock.


As noted by researcher and writer Daniel Greenfield at FrontPage Magazine, just a glimpse into the statistics proves the lie.


For instance, he notes, about “the same time that the media was focused on the mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton, 60 people were shot in Chicago over the weekend,” with “24 of those” shot within a four-hour period.


Meanwhile, the violent city of Baltimore recorded its 200th murder for the year thus far, putting it on pace to surpass last year’s record of 309. And the 200th gun homicide even occurred during a “Ceasefire Weekend.”


You can’t make this stuff up.


In Kansas City, Mo., four people were killed in four days, while six men were shot in Philadelphia during the filming of a rap video (no white shooters in either location).


Even in gun-controlled, ‘peaceful’ Canada, 15 people were wounded in shootings in Toronto over the same weekend. In total, more than 350 people have been shot in that city this year “which has gun control, no NRA, and none of the usual excuses.”


Whites are NOT more likely to commit mass shootings


And yet, this pattern of violence hasn’t received nearly the same kind of establishment media attention because it doesn’t fit the lie that “white nationalist terrorists” are committing all of these shootings. As Greenfield noted, citing anti-Semitic racist Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), “I would say our country should be more fearful of white men across our country because they are actually causing most of the deaths within this country.” 


Lie.


“We have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men,” CNN host Don Lemon actually said recently — not at all realizing he was demonizing white men in making his false claim. 


Newsweek claimed, “White Men Have Committed More Mass Shootings Than Any Other Group.”


These are all blatant, outright lies, Greenfield notes. First and foremost, mass shooters do not all share a particular ideology. Some have espoused right-leaning positions, but many times the shooters are Left-wing sycophants like the Dayton shooter, Connor Betts, who voted for Democrats and praised 2020 presidential contender Sen. Elizabeth Warren (who has not been badgered about that by the media).


Plus, the race figures are just wrong. According to data from the Mass Shooter Tracker, used widely by the same media, as of now, “of the 72 mass shooters, perpetrators in shootings that killed or wounded 4 or more people, whose race is known, 21 were white, 37 were black, 8 were Latino, and 6 were members of other groups,” Greenfield notes. “51% of mass shooters in 2019 were black, 29% were white, and 11% were Latino. Three mass shooters were Asian, two were American Indian and one was Arab.”


Does that sound like we have a “white nationalist terrorist” problem?
