Never go to Walmart again unless you want to be an easy target for mass shooters

(Natural News) In the wake of a shooting at one of its stores in El Paso, Texas, last month, the bean counters and principle executives at retail behemoth Walmart must have taken a look at how much the chain earns from ammunition and gun sales and decided that it could survive without them.

That would help explain why the chain announced its virtue-signaling decision on Tuesday to stop selling all handgun ammunition at every one of its U.S. locations, while also ensuring that future customers can be victimized and killed by a mass shooter.

In addition to ditching ammo sales, the retail giant also decided to ban all open-carry of firms on its premises while asking customers not to carry concealed handguns in stores, either.

The only thing lacking in this new policy betrayal of the Second Amendment and Americans in general is massive signs at each store declaring they are “gun-free zones.”

Because that always works to keep armed, ill-intended crazies out of places where they could kill large numbers of people.

If you’re old enough to remember before Walmart was a ‘thing’ and was still building its brand, you will recall the chain spent a lot of money to convince Americans that it was an American retailer. The ad campaigns focused on the fact that the chain would, whenever possible, “Buy American” because patriotism, the American consumer, and the American Way were important in those early years when founder Sam Walton was still alive and working to solidify his legacy as the No. 1 retail franchise on the planet.

Those days are over. While Walmart may pretend to be an ‘American’ retailer, the fact is the CEOs who run the place are part of the same, ol’ “hate America” Left  — with no regard for our traditions, no regard for our constitutional rights, and no concerns at all about putting every single one of their customers in danger, unnecessarily.

“We have a long heritage as a company of serving responsible hunters and sportsmen and women, and we’re going to continue doing so,” said CEO Doug McMillion in a memo sent to employees Tuesday.

Really, Doug?

There’s not a rash of shootings at Walmart stores — why this policy?

Big League Politics noted:

However, in actuality, that is nothing but double talk, and their announcement is a major capitulation to gun grabbers. They are banning the sale of all short-barrel and handgun ammo, including 5.56 and .223 caliber ammo. Users of the most popular rifle in America, the AR-15, will have to go elsewhere to buy their rounds from now on.

Sponsored solution from the Health Ranger Store: Lab-verified Nascent Iodine solution is a dietary supplement that provides your body with supplemental iodine to help protect your thyroid during radiation exposure. Nuclear accidents such as Fukushima (or nuclear war) can expose your body to radioactive iodine-131, a dangerous radioisotope. Pre-loading your system with stable iodine occupies the iodine receptor sites on your organs, causing your body to naturally expel radioactive iodine you may have been exposed to through air, food, water or milk products. This defensive strategy is recommended by nearly all health authorities, worldwide, including the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Discover more at this link.

And, again, it needs to be said: The Second Amendment was not written with ‘huntin’ in mind; it was written with self-defense in mind — against enemies, foreign and domestic. (Related: Levin: Left constantly trashing police but silent after hero cops save lives in El Paso, Dayton.)

“In a complex situation lacking a simple solution, we are trying to take constructive steps to reduce the risk that events like these will happen again,” McMillon wrote in his memo. “The status quo is unacceptable.”

What “status quo?” Is there a rash of shootings at Walmart stores? And what makes Walmart responsible even if there were a rash of shootings at their locations? What about shooters who don’t buy their guns and ammo from Walmart?

What happens if there is another mass shooting at a Walmart store in the future and that shooter just happens to also be a hunter? Will McMillon then go full libtard and ban all gun and ammo sales, ditching the chain’s “long heritage…of serving responsible hunters and sportsmen and women?”

Sure he will. He’ll assign his bean-counters to look at gun-and-ammo revenue streams, decide he can sell enough consumer goods and groceries to make up the loss, and ban it all.
