(Natural News) In case you haven’t noticed, there’s no weather event too mundane or historically normal that the mainstream media isn’t eager to politicize and blame on “climate change” or “global warming.” And Hurricane Dorian is no exception, as not just the media but also academia is now claiming that this major weather event was a “man-made” occurrence.

In addition to over-hyping Hurricane Dorian for ratings, the media is complicit in spreading the fictitious narrative that carbon dioxide (CO2) and cow flatulence are driving the formation of storms like this – even though Category 5 hurricanes have been happening since practically the beginning of time.

As conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh pointed out during a recent episode of his show, it was Labor Day back in 1930, in fact – long before anyone could have even conceptualized the idea of “global warming” – that a major Category 5 hurricane struck Miami. It caused major damage, even though there was no such thing as a “gas-guzzling” SUV back at that time.

So, what then was the cause of the infamous Labor Day hurricane that struck Miami in 1930? Natural weather patterns, that’s what. But you won’t hear that from The Weather Channel or CNN, which want the American public to believe that they are the ones responsible for causing hurricanes with their consumption patterns.

“We’ve had hurricanes like this all the way back to the 30s,” Limbaugh noted. “The Labor Day hurricane in Miami back in the 1930s was every bit as bad if not worse. They’re not worse. They’re not more of them that are worse. There’s nothing they are saying about this that is anywhere near true.”

“But for people that don’t have any history knowledge or perspective, they’re gonna fall into the trap of thinking that these things are bigger and worse than they’ve ever been so it must be climate change, and nothing could be further from the truth,” he added.

Most of the major hurricanes that struck Florida occurred prior to 1950 – where was global warming then?

Roy Spencer, the official climatologist for the EIB Network, recently appeared on Fox News to talk about hurricanes, and address some claims that were made by Tiphanie Yanique, a professor at Emory University, that Hurricane Dorian was caused by man-made global warming.

He explained that, out of all the major hurricanes that have hit Florida throughout history, most of the worst ones occurred prior to 1950. Not only that, but the warmest recorded ocean temperatures off the Florida coast – temperatures that climate fanatics today claim are “unusual” due to climate change – were also recorded prior to the mid-20th century.

“You hear that? Before 1950,” Limbaugh chuckled. “Before anybody gave a rat’s rear end about carbon, climate change, and all the rest of it. But don’t give up hope. There’s still a chance you could die. Don’t quit. There’s still a chance you could die,” he further joked.

Professor Yanique demonstrated to the world that she has absolutely no knowledge of history, nor does she understand how hurricanes work. To claim that hurricanes are a newer phenomenon caused by people using plastic straws and not driving Priuses is the epitome of idiocratic insanity – but this is what passes for “higher education” in America today.

“This woman is a university professor, and she’s stupid,” Limbaugh emphasized, adding that Hurricane Dorian isn’t actually historic when you look at all of the hurricanes that have happened throughout history. “She is ignorant and dumb.”
