In last Thursday’s Democrat debate, 2020 Democrat Joe Biden asserted that immigrants “are the future of America” and people “should get used to it.”

When Biden was asked about reparations for African-Americans, he decided to shift the discussion to immigration.

He stated, “The reason we’re the country we are is because of immigration.”

We’ve been able to cherry-pick the very best from every single continent,” Biden added.

“The people who come here have determination, resilience, they are ready to stand up and work like the devil,” Biden claimed, according to a report from News Thud. “We have 24 out of every 100 children in our schools today is Hispanic.”

“They [the] idea that we are going to walk away and not provide every opportunity for them is not only stupid and immoral but it’s bad for America,” Biden continued his pro-mass migration rant. “They are the future of America,” Biden proclaimed.

“This is a nation of immigrants, that’s who we are, that’s why we’re who we are, that’s what makes us different and we should invest in them,” Biden ended his speech.

As rosy as Biden’s speech may sound, there is a cold and calculated aspect to it.

Mass migration trends of the past 50 years point to a solid Democrat voting bloc among immigrants. Should these trends persist, the Democrat Party could be in a position to dominate elections in the next few decades.

While immigration can help countries, there have to be pauses every now and then to promote assimilation and make sure that continued mass migration does not disrupt the political and social fabric of a country.

For Democrats like Biden, however, the floodgates must continue to be open, so that they can secure political power and create a permanent majority.
