Catholic groups and followers caught wind of the Satanist celebrants and showed up to sing and pray in the name of Jesus. Some younger Catholics held a sign that read “Satan has no rights.” Satanic Temple affiliates, such as Justin Harvey-John Ashby, said their event was about promoting religious plurality. He said he believes satanic beliefs have been misunderstood and viewed as “grossly perverse,” and that their primary values are empathy, reason, bodily autonomy and justice.

Satanists from the Satanic Temple of Washington State drew a crowd of protesting Roman Catholics Friday as they hoisted their pentagram and conducted a satanic ritual at the state Capitol Friday, March 6.

According to their site, “The Department of Enterprise Services granted The Satanic Temple of Washington a permit to perform an invocation during the current legislative session, from noon to 1 p.m. March 6, on the north steps of the Legislative Building.” The event took place as scheduled with the Roman Catholic protesters pleading for the Virgin Mary to “do something” as the satanists from The Satanic Temple cast their spells. What a scene, man, like a Chick tract come to life.

“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.” Revelation 18:4,5 (KJB)

Isn’t it interesting how the book of Revelation tells us that not only will God throw Satan and his followers into the Lake of Fire, but also shows us the utter destruction of the Vatican and the Roman Catholic corporation as well? I think it’s mind blowing that God puts satanism and Roman Catholicism on pretty much the same level. Think about that awhile.

“And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” Revelation 20:10 (KJB)

The Satanic Temple is the obvious choice for the burning fires of Hell, God will put all false religion there including the Roman Catholic church as well. God is no respecter of persons, and one false religion is just as bad as another.

I would like to personally extend an invitation for people from The Satanic Temple to come and visit us here in Saint Augustine, and I can promise you that you will get a markedly different reception from me and my street preachers than you did from the Roman Catholics in Washington State.
