Whoa! This is good. I think police misconduct is far more pervasive than what Saager seems to acknowledge, and that racial disparities are far more significant than what he claims (see the Radley Balko article I posted earlier today). I also disagree that deploying more police much less the military (what could possibly go wrong?) is the “solution.” But much of the class analysis in this is accurate. I am generally pro-insurrection but the analysis of how the ruling class is trying to co-opt the rebellion (like they did in the 60s and 70s) is spot on.
