The insurrection has been a rebellion against the police state, but the police state is only a tool of the ruling class. The ruling class proper remains unscathed. On a class level, while it is true that capitalist corporations have taken a few minor hits here and there (burning a McDonald’s, looting a Target, etc), most such damage will be covered by insurance, and the insurance companies will also profit by being able to raise their premiums and experience a rise in their stock values. Regrettably, the primary victims of the insurrection have been the petite bourgeoisie.
