BLM activists forced the closure of a popular restaurant after a quarrel over a social media post and a breakfast item named after a Civil War general in Omaha, Nebraska.
The 11-Worth Cafe was a staple of its neighborhood for 44 years, but it is now forever closed. The Omaha World-Herald reported police and city officials are investigating what caused the closure of the cafe, which was targeted over a breakfast item named after Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee.
Approximately 75 activists infuriated over the menu item blocked traffic and banged on the restaurant’s business for two days earlier this month.
A second day of protests are taking place at 11-worth cafe. I’ve spoke with a couple organizers who say they’re still negotiating demands w the owner. pic.twitter.com/GYktGOAtO6
