This segment indirectly provides a reasonably accurate though very basic overview of how the different factions of the ruling class are aligned with the two parties. The tech industry, the media, and the managerial class side with the Democraps, and the fossil fuel, real estate, and other traditional ruling class industries side with the Repugnicans, with Wall Street and the banksters working both.  On the ground level, Peter Zeihan has shown how the only reliable Republican constituents are the evangelicals and nativists. The only reliable Democratic constituents are African-Americans, feminists, gays, and environmentalists, with labor unions, Hispanics, Catholics, pro-lifers, and independents all being potential swing voters.
