The majority of the ruling class is hoping that Biden will defeat Trump and subsequently die soon so that Kamala can be the Prez. Hoping for Biden’s actual survival through his first term is the de facto conservative position. I have not been able to identify a single ruling class faction that wants Trump to return, although there are some that are, as usual, working both ends so that all the bases are covered.
