(Natural News) A Twitter user shared a mosaic of Democratic vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris consisting of African American individuals she imprisoned and held past their release dates to ensure the state did not lose cheap prison labor. Twitter user The Black Socialist posted the mosaic a day after the debate between Harris and incumbent Vice President Mike Pence.

Jackie Kucinich of The Daily Beast first reported the issue in February 2019, when lawyers for the California attorney general’s office argued that some non-violent offenders ought to remain in jail – lest the prison system would be deprived of a cheap labor force.
