Lunatic left-wing Senators now claim the term "sexual preference" discriminates against transgenders, as if LGBT people have NO CHOICE in the matter
(Natural News) In a desperate attempt to rile the emotions of the LGBT community, Senate Democrats twisted the English language and tried to make Supreme Court Justice nominee, Amy Coney Barrett, out to be a discriminatory bigot with some agenda to harm people of various sexual orientations.
During the vetting process to confirm the next Supreme Court Justice, left-wing Senators went full lunatic and chastised Amy Coney Barrett for using the term “sexual preference.”
Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) led the charge against Barrett. “Not once, but twice, you used the term ‘sexual preference’ to describe those in the LGBTQ community,” she scolded. “And let me make clear: ‘sexual preference’ is an offensive and outdated term! It is used by anti-LGBTQ activists to suggest that sexual orientation is a choice.”
Barrett was forced to apologize, as if she did something wrong.

Do Democrats really believe that everyone in the LGBT community is a mindless robot with no choice, no feeling, no voice and NO PREFERENCE in how they associate with others, how they process emotions, how they love, how they want to be perceived, and how they perceive the world around them? Do Democrats really believe that individuals are not influenced by what they read, hear and see, that they cannot come to conclusions about their own identity and self-expression? Do Democrats believe that self-identity and love is not malleable, that people cannot change their minds?
If so, the Democrats seem to be interested in one thing: using the LGBT community just to get votes. The term “sexual preference” is actually an inclusive term that gives dignity to people of various interests, identities and inclinations. How people dress, who they choose to engage with, how they make love is ultimately rooted in human free will. Why would Democrats want to take the autonomy away from the LGBT community and treat them as if they are a group of drones, set in stone since birth and made to do what they do with no free will?
In transgenderism, many choices have to be made. Using synthetic hormones and surgeries to change one’s physical appearance is not something that happens automatically. It occurs through a series of processed emotions, feelings, mental battles, hormonal changes, etc. “Sexual preference” clearly describes transgenderism and gender identity. Not every transition goes well, either. There are physiological and psychological issues that arise from this process, and some people ultimately regret going down this path and may even defect from the original pride they had when “coming out of the closet.”
But to Democrats, the LGBT community is nothing more than a dumb voting block that can be easily manipulated and used. To Democrats, the LGBT community has no say in how they live their life, how they present themselves, how they feel, who they love.
Democrats try to rile LGBT community, even though their own Presidential nominee uses the same “discriminatory” language
Democrats immediately used their own insanity during the Barrett hearings to try and rile the LGBTQ community to oppose Barret and vote against Trump. “The LGBTQ+ community should be concerned with #WhatsAtStake with Judge Barrett on the Supreme Court. — Senator Mazie Hirono (@maziehirono) October 13, 2020.”
Ironically enough, the Democrat’s own Presidential nominee used the same term in May during a virtual round table with African Americans in Florida. “I’m hopeful. I’m going to need you if we win. I’m going to need you to help this time rebuild the backbone of this country, the middle class, but this time bring everybody along regardless of color, sexual preference, their backgrounds, whether they have any … Just bring everybody along.”
Democrats have gone too far in twisting the term “sexual preference” and are out of their minds for accusing Amy Coney Barrett of discrimination. The Democrats do not speak for every individual in the LGBTQ community. All Americans deserve better than the abusive thought-control, speech-control lunatics running the Democrat Party.
