(Natural News) Conservative media watchdog Media Research Center (MRC) called to investigate mainstream media outlets’ meddling in the 2020 presidential elections. In a Nov. 4 statement, MRC President Brent Bozell III called reports by mainstream media-affiliated pollsters as “deliberately widely wrong.”

Bozell mentioned in his statement that “the same pollsters who predicted [President Donald Trump’s election loss] four years ago” were at it again. “It was clear then that they were attempting to suppress the vote. The pollsters denied it, of course,” his statement mentioned.

The same parties also uttered the same prediction four years later: Trump could not win. However, Bozell remarked that the pollsters’ knew exactly what they were doing when they pronounced the negative predictions. According to the MRC president, these mainstream media pollsters “were firmly vested in [Joe] Biden’s election” in a similar vein as former Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Bozell called for a federal investigation into the pollsters’ “election tampering,” commenting that “at the very least, this is a violation of federal election laws.” The MRC president ended his statement by saying that these pollsters “worked for the national ‘news’ media,” and their false proclamations were “reasons why Americans should never believe these hucksters again.”

Bozell’s statement comes in light of an apparent Biden victory, which the mainstream media is pushing

The MRC president’s statement comes in light of an apparent victory by Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden. As of writing, the former vice president has 264 electoral votes compared to the incumbent’s 214. A presidential candidate needs 270 electoral votes to win – and Biden only needs six more to do so.

However, author and Fox News host Howard Kurtz also criticized mainstream media for the “debacle” of underestimating Trump and overestimating Biden – mainly because too many journalists were simply out of touch with average Americans.

Kurtz told fellow Fox News hosts Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum during the network’s Nov. 4 special election coverage: “No matter who wins, this has been a debacle for the media, which in every possible way pointed to an easy Biden win.” (Related: Is the mainstream media fraudulently trying to anoint Joe Biden as president?)

Despite the media publishing “endless stories about who would serve in Joe [Biden’s] cabinet”, Kurtz said the media instead got an “acid flashback to 2016” when Trump won an upset victory over Clinton. Nevertheless, he remarked that journalists still underestimated Trump four years on. “The media said the president was crippled by the pandemic, the economy, by his weakness with women and suburban voters, and yet he still has a shot as a second term,” Kurtz added.

Trump continues to be popular despite the mainstream media (and Big Tech) working against him

Baier then noted how some liberal media outlets did not carry Trump speeches and others have ignored or dismissed negative stories about Biden’s family – especially Hunter Biden’s emails. The Special Report anchor noted that Trump received millions of votes even though media outlets have been largely smearing him.

Kurtz remarked on Baier’s observation: “Too many journalists live in bubbles … and don’t really understand that many Trump supporters view him as a cultural warrior against the elite, and that includes many … in the media.”

Aside from mainstream media, Big Tech is also complicit in swaying public opinion against Trump with its censorship powers. Social media giants Twitter and Facebook have censored the Trump campaign 65 times but did not even lay a finger on the Biden campaign.

The MRC analyzed social media posts by Trump, Biden and people closely linked to their campaigns from May 2018 to Oct. 16 of this year. It found that Twitter was the worst offender, flagging 64 out of 65 tweets by Trump himself and his campaign over “public interest notices.”

Regardless of biased Big Tech censorship and hit jobs by the mainstream media, nothing can stump Donald Trump.
