In her recent book, State of Fear, British author Laura Dodsworth revealed the extent to which government-appointed ‘science experts’ used fear and coercion to help central government control people’s behaviour during the COVID crisis. While critics have deemed this to be “unethical” and “totalitarian,” it was nonetheless extremely popular in government circles and actively promulgated by the mainstream media as well. This weaponization of propaganda for the purpose of social engineering has never been done on such a pernicious scale in the West before.

Afterwards, government boffins lamented that, “people use the pandemic to grab power and drive through things that wouldn’t happen otherwise… We have to be very careful about the authoritarianism that is creeping in”.

One even said: “Without a vaccine, psychology is your main weapon… Psychology has had a really good epidemic, actually.”

It was beyond the pale, and yet no one seemed to oppose it at the time, and the false narratives spun by government still persist to this day.
