The Left’s lawfare campaign was not designed to prevail… it was to hang a dark, multi-state cloud of suspicion over Trump

Leftist unhinged hatred, not only for Trump but for his supporters and for the democratic process itself, is again on full display. Keith Olbermann, this election cycle’s Kathy Griffin, recently broadcast his hope for Trump’s assassination. Not quite so graphic as Griffin’s career-ending illustration of her beheading fantasy, but it is still an incitement when submitted to an ideologically aligned audience.

What has the Left so peeved?

Their lawfare campaign is crumbling as the foundational assertions of each case succumb to scrutiny, and the criminal character of those involved discredits the whole effort. The obvious takeaway conclusions in each are relatable and portable, expressible in bite-sized morsels, which undermine the credibility of the whole lawfare strategy. A few examples include:

> In Georgia – A corrupt prosecutor, a manipulated recording = bogus case.

> Classified docs – Only the President is authorized to classify and declassify.

> In NY “fraud” case – No harm, no foul. Supposed “victims” testified they made out fine.

The purpose of the lawfare campaign wasn’t to prevail in the individual cases, anyway. It was to hang a dark, multi-state cloud of suspicion and aversion over Trump for as much of the election year as possible.

Oh, but it’s bolstering his polling numbers! The voting public’s increasing clarity on the political nature of these cases enrages the Left, which has accelerated its attempts to sow unrest and lawlessness while increasing its tyrannical power.

The invasion of our southern border continues, while Texas’ effort to defend its border with Mexico continues to be impeded by the administration.

Voting by non-citizens is expressly permitted in a growing number of municipalities within Left-dominated states. While federal law prohibits foreign nationals from voting in elections that seat Federal legislators or the president. But the aggressive blurring of the line between citizen and non-citizen continues. Many blue states issue driver’s licenses to illegal aliens and register people to vote when a driver’s license is issued. Trusting that these people will NOT be handed or mailed a ballot for the presidential election is insanity. We can safely assume many foreign nationals present in these cities will be voting for Democrats in the next presidential election.    

A Tennessee State Senator recently threatened to incite race riots over her state’s passage of a law that prevents municipal or county jurisdictions from preventing routine traffic stops. Why was this law needed? The Memphis City Council recently imposed an ordinance that prevents Memphis Police from making routine traffic stops over expired tags, broken signals, headlights, etc. Given criminals’ disregard for laws of any kind, stops for minor infractions and the attendant checks on the driver provide needed opportunities to arrest people who are wanted for violent crimes.

Colorado legislature just GUTTED the 1973 Sunshine Law, which prohibited the conduct of public business in secret. The law subjected all meeting minutes and other records of lawmaker deliberations to public issue and scrutiny. The new law exempts all electronic communications, which today represents nearly every discussion occurring outside the chamber itself. Email and text will quickly become the preferred methods of communication.

It’s becoming increasingly clear that the party calling itself “Democrat” has nothing but contempt for the whole democratic process, from the freedom of speech and press to the conduct of elections.
